The A.C.E. Day Care Center is a licensed facility serving
the needs of the Adult and Young Adult 
Education
Program as well as the community at large. The facility is licensed
for 18 children, ages
2½ weeks to 12 years old. The day care is open Monday through
Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.
A.C.E. Day Care staff is comprised of qualified day care workers who
are trained in C.P.R. and First Aid annually. Staff members also attend
locally offered seminars that cover child development issues. Each
staff member attends at least one seminar a year. Staff members include
a director, lead teacher, and day care aides.
Located in a new modular at the back of the parking lot, A.C.E. Day
Care Center provides activities that are age appropriate and revolve
around themes and lesson plans.
Some of the themes covered
on a regular basis include national holidays, colors, numbers, self-awareness,
fire prevention and safety
week, bugs, farm animals and getting ready for winter.
Activities include:
-Structured art projects
-Literature
-Sensory skills
-Large and small motor development
-Free play indoors & outdoors
