This series on FrontPage 2003 is designed for students with limited HTML experience who want to learn the basics of FrontPage elements and techniques. Students will learn several new topics including, Publishing a Web site to the World Wide Web, LAN, or SharePoint Portal Server, and seting permissions for a Web site. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success.

Objectives:

Identify important features and components of the FrontPage environment Create and test hyperlinks, create a navigation structure, add and test a navigation bar, and update hyperlinks Insert and edit images, create and modify a photo gallery, create image links, and add hotspots to an imageApply DHTML effects, insert a date and time stamp and a Flash animation, and create templates, site indices, and banner ads Use style sheets to control page design and enforce consistency across a site Use forms to get input from users, enable users to search a Web site, and save form results in a variety of formats
Make pages compatible with various browsers, use Dynamic Web Templates, and promote a Web site
